1st place in language olympics

Félicitations to Adam and Isak in 9E for winning first place in the National Finals of Språkolympiaden in the French competition. After a nail-biting tie breaker against Franska Skolan, the boys proved their knowledge of French vocabulary, grammar, and culture and came out as this year’s winners.

Congratulations to a fantastic performance at the Language Olympics

Congratulations to a fantastic performance at the Language Olympics

Last week seven of our year 9 students went to the Regional Finals of Språkolympiaden in Gothenburg. The students performed extremely well and we are very proud of them for representing our school. The results were:

French: first place (Adam and Isak Wikström, 9E)

Spanish: third place (Max and Lisa, 9E)

English: fourth place (Gustav N and Jakob H, 9D)

Swedish: second place (Clara and Isak Wikström, 9E)

The French students will go on to National Finals in Malmö in a few weeks. We wish them the best of luck! Bonne chance!

Successful turnout for open house

Successful turnout for open house

We had a fantastic turnout last week during our open house with many visitors who were able to express their thoughts on canvases around the school. A special thanks to the student ambassadors who were taking care of the visitors while they were here.

Open House 2019

We welcome everyone to attend our annual open house the 14th of February between 8.30 and 14.00. Everyone attend should check it at our main office. We invite everyone to walk around and attend different lessons in all year groups. Please visit all the different subjects so that you may see the fabulous education our students are receiving whether it be Swedish, English and mathematics or within our aesthetics subjects such as crafts, music and art. There will be teachers, students and even parents available to speak with during the day with any questions. Addtionally, there will be a session with the leadership team at 11.00 in the school's auditorium. Our language program will be selling 'fika' and hamburgers during the day as well to raise money for their language trips to Spain and France.

A very warm welcome to everyone!
